Annual Ski Insurance
Annual Travel Insurance with Ski Cover
Annual Ski Insurance can be great value for money if you travel regularly and one or more of those trips involves downhill skiing or another winter sport, such as snowboarding, cross country skiing or ice skating.

Annual travel insurance is most suited to travellers taking frequent short trips rather than one extended holiday.
In addition to the maximum trip duration, annual travel insurance with ski cover will specify a maximum number of days skiing within that year, for example 17 days. This should be enough ski insurance cover an enthusiastic skier taking 2 or 3 ski trips in a year.
When you are buying annual ski insurance you can choose between European or Worldwide cover depending on where you are planning to travel over the course of the year.
Annual ski insurance – cover for skiing and snowboarding
If you are going skiing or snowboarding it’s important to buy annual ski insurance or add ski cover to your annual travel insurance policy.
Adding ski cover to your annual travel insurance extends your travel insurance policy in two ways:
Firstly and most importantly, it extends the medical and repatriation expenses of your annual travel insurance policy to cover you if you are injured whilst taking part in a winter sport, such as skiing or snowboarding.
Secondly, choosing annual ski insurance will add extra cover to your travel insurance policy to cover your loss, theft or damage to your ski equipment and unused prepaid ski hire, ski lessons and lift pass.
If you intend to ski or snowboard off-piste or take part in heli-skiing or ski touring you should read the terms and conditions of your annual ski insurance to see if it is covered. If it is not covered as standard you may be able to add cover as an additional option.
